Notes:     Gemini II, Lot 307 Moneyer C. Plotius Rufus Legend variant of BMCRE 147, CBN 491, Cohen 501, and RIC 387. Beautiful green and blue patina. Some surface scratches. Very rare in this condition. Extremely fine. The first V is omitted in the moneyer's name RVFVS, an error not previously recorded on a sestertius, though a dupondius of this moneyer in Turin is reported to show the same error, Willers, Kupferpragung, no. 142, citing Fabretti 4283
